This is my upcoming piece for Portland Winter Light Festival, 2025. I’ve started experimenting with recycled (previously used) translucent plastic. HDPE is pretty easy to work with in theory. Currently dumpster-diving milk jugs from our small-town transfer station. Not sure what that will mean was I try to build a big piece with it.
This is going to be a 10 foot diameter, 7 foot high piece, with internal rear projection, some interactivity using cameras to capture visitor shapes and movement.
