Scott Keva James and Greg Bowman’s 3rd entry at Lusio: A Night to Awaken. We again went with something with a playable interaction. It’s a long wall of cubes, at each end of which spouts of particles shoot out, causing waves that run across the surface with fluid motion. The waves from each end collide and disperse throughout the surface of the wall. Weird mechanical sounds accompany the particles. Visitors trigger the particle waves by placing their hands over a motion control station. They can also vary the pitch of the audio, and wiggle the spray point by moving their hands up and down.
At Lusio, people were lined up before it was dark enough for us to finish the mapping. And they did not relent until we were forced to shut it down.
